A beautifully hand painted Green Tara by the Master Thangka artist Karma. He has been painting Thangka for over 40 years
Green Tara is the Goddess of active compassion and healing. She was born from a lotus flower out of a lake of tears. Those were Chenrezigs (Avalokiteshvara) tears of compassion when he saw the troubles of the world. Green Tara is said to help overcome dangers, anxieties and fears.
Canvas approx. 42cm x 56cm
