FIND Tibetan Dawn ON SCOOT
We would like to thank Tibet Online for their continued support by listing our company on their website www.tibet.org/Barkhor/Market/index.html over the last couple of years. It Is with help like this that we are able to continue to promote Tibetan Art & Culture in the UK and thus support Tibetan Refugees in India.
And also to Tibet Network who have listed us under their eshops for a long while.
The Tibetan Governement in Exile were the first people to accept our website listing on their list of European Shops & we are eternally grateful for this.
The Tibet House Trust is one of the Tibetan charities which take donations in order to help protect the Tibetan culture and to help Tibetans in exile to say selfsufficient. They also have a form which you can download if you wish to give regular donations to The Blue Book scheme.
TIBET FOUNDATION
This is the website for the Tibet Foundation, for whom I have been a member for many years and always look forward to receiving their magazine.TASHI LHUMPO MONKS
My favorite monastery in India is the Tashi Lhunpo Monastery which was established in Bylakuppe, Karnataka State, in South India. I always vistit it when I am there.
Buy hard for Tibet is a website which requests that we boycott the purchase of Chinese goods in protest at human and animal rights abuses. It lists where you can buy items of non-Chinese origin.
I am adding the Free Tibet website, which without them we may never have known about the plight of Tibetans.
We have now started to sell Tibetan Dawn products through Amazon.co.uk . They are a little more expensive, but this is due to the merchant fees charged by Amazon verses the fees charge by PayPal on our own site. Please note that we try to price the items so that we only receive the same money for our products.
TIBETAN SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGE SCHOOL
This is the web link to the SOS Tibetan school which we have been supporting. We have done this by collecting donations over the Christmas period on certain stock items. Last year we were able to contribute 7,000 Indian Rupees by selling slipper socks on our 2008 Christmas market stalls. This year we were selling both slipper socks and pyjamas, so were able to donate £100 GBPs in March 2010.
We would like to thank our customers who have alowed us the ability to do this.
