6.11.08: Green Packaging!
So often we have found ourselves trying to send out parcels using recycled boxes & recycled plastic bags where needed. If we haven’t got a recycled box to fit an item, then we will resorted to making up a suitable posting box out of clean reusable cardboard. So don’t be surprised if your statue, singing bowl or art work turns up in one of our custom made cartons!
With other items you may find your order sent out in brown paper and a clean recycled bag to protect it from the rain. The plastic bags are simply form our t-shirts or re-used from other stock items which have been sold on our festival stall. We will also reuse bubble wrap and polystyrene packing chips from deliveries that we have had. Having said all that, we do have to admit that we haven’t found a green alternative to packing tape yet!
We would like to give a really big thank you to our friend Steve Reader, who has recently supplied us with a large amount of new bubble wrap, envelopes and computer paper, which was otherwise destined to be destoyed.
