18.10.08: Collection for the Bihar Flood victims in India

Dear All,
As you are well aware in the Indian state of Bihar a millions of people and their properties have been affected by the worst ever flood disaster in 50 years. The Government of India and the people have been very grateful to us Tibetans and it is very important that especially during this disaster period we show our sympathy and concern to them. As directed by Kashag, we therefore appeal for voluntary donation from Tibetans for relief work as a token of our sympathy and concern for the people of India.
Kindly collect the voluntary donation for Bihar flood victims and send it to this office latest by October end so that we can forward the same to the Bureau of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, New Delhi.
